Our small team works on big projects. We go to great lengths to make our work mean something. Sometimes for our clients. Every time for ourselves. Our studio is a dream for the developer who appreciates pushing the boundaries of what is possible in websites, mobile apps and interactive installation. You will be working with UX and UI designers who are one and the same at HAUS; we believe this feature qualification and flow is as important as creative interface design itself. And we believe in the need to stitch that together with meaningful intelligent content that is birthed from a collaboration with some of the best film directors and writers in the world.

If you can dream it, with HAUS, you WILL be instrumental in how ‘online’ looks, behaves and integrates through the merging of video, design and technology.

Need-to-Haves

• Experience developing Website, Social Media, and App interfaces

Backend Web Developer

Los Angeles based integrated production company HAUS is looking for ‘full time’ mid to senior level backend web developers for a variety of interactive projects. You will work as part of a creative development team led by our director of technology and interactive producers.

HAUS projects often focus on high visibility national brand social media apps integrating Facebook, YouTube, web sites / apps / api’s, mobile applications and more. High availability, stability, scalability and security are important criteria.

Senior Interactive Producer

We are looking for producers with technical and creative sensibilities. We encourage everyone on the team to contribute their own ideas and inspirations to the group. Projects may include rich media dev, Facebook Apps, YouTube Brand Channels, websites, web apps, mobile apps, etc.

The Details

• Staff position with all the fixins, contract is also possible
• We work in Los Angeles and will provide relocation assistance
• Rate is dependent on experience and skill set

Skills and Requirements

• 3+ years of on job experience, ad agency or production side
• Excellent client and internal communication, written and spoken
• Must be independent, self-motivated, driven, team player
• Interpret RFP’s and quickly turnaround accurate, detailed SOW’s
• Great understanding of IA/UI standard and trends across devices
• Experience on projects using HTML5/CSS3 standards
• Knowledge of the associated dev complexities…
• Do you like to QA?
• Manage multiple projects with parallel timelines

Designer

We're looking for a multifaceted designer with a soft spot for interactive user interfaces. Besides pushing pixel, all our designers are involved in developing information architecture. Perhaps it's a control thing, but nevertheless, that's what we feel pushes our design intricacy to the next level.

We specialize in creative concepts articulated through video and online technology. So your projects can range from collaborating with a director or developer to producing tablet HTML5 app ui design or an interactive video experience.

Our sensibility for design is more that of a typographer than that of motion graphic designer.

The Details

• Design HTML, Flash and App interfaces.
• Develop information architecture and user experiences
